- Isolate the Infested Area: You need to seal off all the rooms that are affected to prevent mold spores from spreading to other parts of your house.
- Fix the Water Problem: Mold growth is typically a problem caused by unchecked moisture on the floor or walls. If you suspect that you have a mold problem, you should have your plumbing examined, and fix any leaking issues.
- Put Affected Materials in Plastic Bags: Check whether there are any wet or moldy materials such as clothes and books and put them in plastic bags for disposal.
